Picture from Territory Labor website.
Luke Gosling is
currently an advisor for Northern Territory Labor Senator, Trish
Crossin.2
It was said of
the seat of Solomon in the last election (2010): “A booth-by-booth
analysis of voting showed that the military overwhelming voted
against Labor.”4
For election 14 September 2013 Labor has chosen a candidate with
military experience to stand in Solomon.2
It appears that
Luke Gosling likes to help other people.2
To date I have
found no direct indications of Luke Gosling's moral beliefs I can
only infer that he might vote on moral issues in a manner similar to
what Senator Crossin has done in the past. However, on
the issue of same-sex (homosexual) marriage at the Australian
Christian Lobby forum on 2 September 2013 Luke said that we need to
vailidate their commitment to each other, that it is okay for the
state and church to have different rules on this issue. I take this
as an endorsement of homosexual marriage.
The other known
candidates are sitting Country Liberal MP Natasha Griggs and John
Kearney
for One Nation.5
The “Rise Up Australia Party” is known to be standing a
candidate, the details are not known to me or on their website
(http://riseupaustraliaparty.com/)
at the time of this update.
I find it
interesting that Luke Gosling was the first candidate I heard, having
messages broadcast on Darwin's 97 seven (97.7 MHz on the
F.M. Band, http://darwins97seven.org.au/)
as a station sponsor.
As always I
encourage readers to seek more information by reading the Bible.
